Since April 2010 the campaign landscape for the District 2 County Commissioner position has changed. There have been several new Democratic candidates enter the field for District 2 Commissioner AFTER Commissioner Patterson announced she was not going to run for re-election. I content that all three support the policies and programs of Commissioner Patterson. Otherwise, why would they announce only after Commissioner Patterson decided not to run for District 2? Miss Davis actually said she would never run against Commissioner Patterson. Because this is NOT a popularity contest I can only take that statement as directly supporting the present adminstration, the present programs and policies. We need CHANGE. I am in direct opposition to the majority of Commissioner Patterson’s programs and policies. The other candidates cannot say this. WE NEED CHANGE.

The upcoming primary is very important. If you are unhappy with the current situation in Charles County - VOTE for CHANGE - VOTE DEGIORGI!
